Technologies used @ ePower

From its foundation on, ePower started building web applications using Microsoft's technology Active Server Pages (ASP), storing its information in a MS SQL Server or Oracle database. The ASP technology allowed us to quickly build custom solutions for our customers to help them automate their HR process.

In the meanwhile the technology evolved and so did ePower. We are now using Microsoft's .NET Framework 3.0 to build our innovative eSuite software solution.

The eSuite software is designed according to the MVC model (Model-View-Controller) to increase the readibility and reusability of the software code, allowing us to develop even higher quality software. With the use of XML Web Services the software interacts seamlessly with either an Oracle or MS SQL Server database, the worlds most common used databases in small organizations and large international companies. ePower guarantees full compatibility of the eSuite software with many well known internet browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla FireFox and Safari.

Client

  • A web browser: Internet Explorer 6 or 7, FireFox 2 or 3, Safari 3.

Application server

  • Windows Server 2000 or higher with IIS.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0.

Database server

  • MS SQL Server 2000 or higher.
  • Oracle 9i or higher.
