Scientific research shows that a link is found with improved financial results like profits. For her doctoral research "HRM, employee well-being and organizational performance: a balanced perspective" Karina van de Voorde (Tilburg University) analyzed objective performance indicators from more than 14000 employees at Rabobank and data from questionnaires. Van de Voorde discovered trends in the questionnaire scores that declared a profit mutation of 178 million euros per year. Mainly the positive scores on quality focus, targeting, reward and management information appear to have a predictive impact on the financial performance. IDC predicts strong increase in rented software solution market.Research agency IDC predicts a big increase in popularity of Software as a Service (SaaS), certainly in these economically challenging times. By renting a complete software solution instead of licensing the software and installing it on their own servers, organisations can enjoy the benefits of new functionality, while still keeping the costs low because only the current use is being billed. User-friendly, scalable and high-performing tools are up to a bright future, predicts IDC. In the United States SaaS is already quite popular, IDC expects this development to occur in Europe as well. Since mid 2008, the user-friendly ePower eHR tools are also available as a complete hosted solution. Performance or Competence Management, a tool for personnel administration becomes just a matter of configuring the right modules on the ePower servers. It's a complete solution, but without the big investments. Intrested? Contact us. |
